Remember, the issue we must focus on is NOT WEIGHT LOSS, but weight maintenance. Until we can find a way to reliably stabilize someone at a new lower weight we have not discovered much that is useful. Fortunately, continuing to eat a diet that is low in carbohydrate and high in non-processed foods does appear to lead to successful maintenance in many.
